the joy of Love: day 1

This year I made it a goal to take more pictures.  That might seem odd, me take MORE pictures.  But I want to take more everyday life pictures of my family.  The last 2 years have been filled more with taking pictures of others and their families and not as much taking pictures of mine or of things I love.

In an effort to achieve this goal I decided to participate in {the joy of LOVE} for the month of February.  I enjoy Willette's blog.  Her photography is beautiful and her tips and tricks or so helpful.  If you are interested feel free to join in.  It is a free course.  I receive  daily email with the theme, loaded with tips and ideas.

Here is my day 1 picture.  Today's theme is "what they do".  Today we are in the middle of Blizzard 2011!    In a city that isn't used to getting more than 8 inches of snow at a time, getting 12-14 inches was huge.  This caused schools to be closed and for all of us to stay home, warm and safe.  Each of the kids did several different things today.  But the girls had the most fun with their play-dough.
