Quick Post
Just thought I'd quickly post of picture of the Little Man from yesterday. His sisters weren't interested in their pictures being taken. They were too busy playing.

Wow it has been a crazy couple of weeks. Just thought I'd post a few pictures from my quick trip to San Francisco. I so wanted to see more of the sights of the city. But I was so busy working that I didn't have a chance to get out and explore. This city is very beautiful. I'm looking forward to Matt and I going out for another visit for our 10 year anniversary next year.
I'm just about finished editing/playing with the pictures from my photo session on Tuesday. I've sent some out for test prints so that I can make sure my colors are okay. I'm not 100% sure if my Apple monitor is calibrated correctly or not. I mean it is 6 years old. Plus it's just really tough to tell on any screen if the colors are good. Hope you enjoy!

We finally had a chance to blow up the pool over labor day weekend. "A" wasn't up for pictures, but the other two hammed it up for me. Enjoy!

I took the kids out to the field behind our house to see if I could get a group picture of them. Yeah right!! No such luck. They had way more fun running, jumping and exploring. These are what I was able to capture.

Pictures from the swimming pool tomorrow.
Since Melissa and Samantha were in town for a visit I thought I'd take advantage of my teenage model and do a practice photo session. I so need lots and lots of practice. She has happily been my model for many years now.
Now she is all grown up and has turned into a beautiful teenager! I wanted to try for an urban feel for these pictures doing something that I don't normally try. So off we went to adventure to downtown Kansas City. We drove around for a while and then found this great little street not too far from Jack Stack BBQ down by Union Station. Thankfully we took a walk down this street/alley area and found this fabulous old green door. I just love the color and the details of it all. Here are a few of my favorites from our session. I am so grateful that Samantha is still willing to let me "play". I'd love to hear what you all think of these ~ the good, the bad and teh constructive criticism is welcome. Thanks for everything!!
