Mini Session
Since Melissa and Samantha were in town for a visit I thought I'd take advantage of my teenage model and do a practice photo session. I so need lots and lots of practice. She has happily been my model for many years now.
Here is a picture of here when she was about 5 years old. I was playing around with studio pictures.
Now she is all grown up and has turned into a beautiful teenager! I wanted to try for an urban feel for these pictures doing something that I don't normally try. So off we went to adventure to downtown Kansas City. We drove around for a while and then found this great little street not too far from Jack Stack BBQ down by Union Station. Thankfully we took a walk down this street/alley area and found this fabulous old green door. I just love the color and the details of it all. Here are a few of my favorites from our session. I am so grateful that Samantha is still willing to let me "play". I'd love to hear what you all think of these ~ the good, the bad and teh constructive criticism is welcome. Thanks for everything!!

I think the photos are great but I am a bit biased when it comes to the model and the photographer! Look at how you have improved over the years. You should be very proud. I know I am proud of you.
